Can I place an item on hold?

We do not offer general holds unless a purchase has been arranged.

Payment arrangements include trade customers paying by bank transfer, where items are held for up to 2 days while awaiting invoice payment, as well as purchases made with a layby or deposit.

How can I pay for items?

We offer a range of secure payment methods, including PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay, bank transfer and Link. Afterpay and Klarna are also available.

Do you offer a trade discount?

Yes. We offer a trade discount to qualifying interior designers and architects. Please contact us before purchasing to enquire about trade pricing and eligibility.

Do you have a showroom?

Aesthetiker is an online store and we do not currently have a showroom or offer in-person viewings.

Can I see additional photos or a video?

Absolutely. If you would like to see additional photographs or a video of an item before purchasing, please contact us and we will be happy to provide these.

Do you offer previews of upcoming pieces?

At this time, we are unable to offer previews of upcoming pieces. Items are only shown once they have been cleaned, rewired, restored where required and professionally photographed, so they can be presented in their final condition.

How often are pieces added to the collection?

Pieces become available at different times, depending on the work each one requires. This may involve a simple clean and rewire or, on occasion, a more involved restoration before being professionally photographed and added to the website.

Are your lights rewired and ready to install?

Yes. All our lighting is newly rewired and tested prior to sale. As an additional precaution following transit, we suggest having lighting tested by a qualified electrician prior to installation. In Australia, installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician; for international customers, please follow the electrical requirements applicable in your location.

Are light globes and mounting screws included?

Light globes and mounting screws are not included with our lighting.

Most of our lights use either an E14 or E27 screw globe. The globe type is specified in the individual product listing. If you need to identify the fitting, an E27 socket is approximately 27 mm in diameter, while an E14 socket is approximately 14 mm in diameter.

Are all your items restored?

We are passionate about sourcing high-quality, unique design classics and always strive for preservation. Due to the age of our pieces, some may require restoration by us and our network of restorers.

Each piece is individually assessed, with restoration undertaken only where needed. Our aim is to present every piece in its optimal state while preserving its desirable vintage patina and the integrity of the original design.

How do you assess the condition of vintage pieces?

Signs of age and previous use are common in vintage items and, where present, any notable imperfections will be detailed in the individual product listing.

Like New Vintage Condition
The piece is vintage but has never been used and presents in exceptionally well-preserved condition. It may retain its original tags, labels or packaging.

Excellent Vintage Condition
The piece presents exceptionally well for its age, with minimal signs of previous use. Minor age-related wear may be present.

Very Good Vintage Condition
The piece presents very well overall, with light signs of age and previous use. Minor marks, patina or wear may be present but are generally subtle.

Good Vintage Condition
The piece shows signs of age and previous use, which may include marks, scratches, patina or other age-related wear. It presents well overall, with small signs of wear.

Are your product photos edited or AI-generated?

No. All Aesthetiker product photography is taken in a photography studio and is not AI-generated or altered using AI. We aim to ensure all photographs are a true and accurate representation of each item, including its colour, texture and condition. Please note that colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device settings.

Can I use or reproduce photos on the Aesthetiker website?

No. All Aesthetiker photography is protected by copyright and remains the property of Aesthetiker.

Our product photography may not be reproduced or used without permission. When reposting Aesthetiker images on social media, please credit and tag Aesthetiker.
