HOLD LB | Italian Murano Carlo Scarpa Wall Mirror for Venini, Italy, 1950s
Vintage round wall mirror by Carlo Scarpa for Venini. The mirror is encased in a brass frame with the lovely ‘treccia’ (braided) Murano glass surround. Beautiful detailing is seen throughout from the brass frame to the Murano glass. Made in Italy in the 1950s.
Great vintage condition with signs of age related wear. The front of the brass frame has been lightly polished, however, some small areas of patina are seen. The rear of the surround, including the hook, still has its original patina. The glass surround is in perfect vintage condition with no marks or chips with only some very minor signs of wear seen at the attachment points. The internal glass mirror has been newly replaced, however, the original mirror can be supplied if desired. Sourced from Italy.
