Incredible and unique Italian Barovier pendant with thick Murano glass and brass detailing. This ceiling light is adorned with the unique ‘Morise’ wavy texture, both on the large glass shade and the ceiling rose. Finished with a decorative thick glass stem, encasing a polished steel rod, and brass capping. Impressive whether illuminated or unlit, this piece epitomises the enduring appeal of exquisite handmade, mouth-blown craftsmanship of the renowned Barovier artisans. A lovely bright light is emitted from two light bulbs. Crafted in Italy during the 1940s.
Excellent vintage condition with minor signs of age related wear. The pendant has been beautifully and fully restored with complete new wiring. Glass has no chips, marks or scratches. Sourced from Italy.
